If you were wondering where's the bazaar is?
It's around
<< Istana Kehakiman compound
There got TONS of stalls and obviously, human. Make sure those who brings children; to take a good care of them and try not to lost them, please. For lady, my friendly reminder for you is to not wear heels. Oh! yeah, all people are invited; Muslim and non-Muslim. This what makes Malaysia Awesome!
You can either go to the 'Hari Raya' stalls or the bazaar. Variety of choices for you. It's too crowded there and don't ever question; why the traffic is terrible during the peak hours (around 5.30pm-8.00pm)?
However, it's an interesting experience to break the fast on the grass with an architecture view of Putrajaya. Surprisingly, the sunset is mesmerizing! No kidding. After the dinner, (for Muslims) can go straight to the Masjid Besi to pray. All venues are connected, thus, no need to worry about getting lost.
At the bazaar, if you were like me; who will have a mental block on what to eat whenever I see too many foods. Then I would like to recommend few of these stalls for you to try out.
First, the star of the show, is the blazing fire of Char Kuey Teow stall. You can find this stall on the third row (If I'm not mistaken, lol), but i bet you wouldn't have any problem finding it because everyone is queuing up to buy it or just to watch the show. The cook is extremely friendly, he would pose for you if you ask and the food is marvelous.
But, if you're a person who must eat rice to survive the night, then you could try Nasi Kukus at the second row (If I'm not mistaken, again). You have to bear with the queue but it's worth it.
Or if you want have mix dishes, try to find this married yet friendly couple that sell various traditional Malay's foods. The stall is located at the last row. Please, do have some effort to converse with them because they're friendly and it doesn't hurt to make friends.
Lastly, for drinks, try to find this uncle who sell fresh sugarcane drink and soy milk. The Tebu(sugarcane) juice is Hoa Liao! The thickness and the sweetness are perfect (at least for me who like sweet Tebu). Even though this uncle might look unapproachable, don't judge a book by its' cover. He is a friendly and kind guy. He even recommend me and my friends to try squeezing the Tebu.
That's it for now, Happy Ramadhan to my Muslim friends. Do have Fardhu prayers at the Masjid Besi, it's very comfortable and the Imams are tip top. Let's chase Lailatul Qadar guys! Osu!
