Life can be tough and we can cheat our mindset sometimes by lying to ourselves that we're okay. Yes, that works, but be careful when you find these traits because it is a sign that you need to help yourself. It's time for a change.


  1. Stage 1: You feel there is a strong need to prove yourself

  2. Stage 2: You keep working harder to achieve things

  3. Stage 3: You begin to neglect your own needs

  4. Stage 4: You are conflicted and blame others or the situation

  5. Stage 5: You change your values to focus on work more

  6. Stage 6: You deny the problems that arise due to work stress

  7. Stage 7: You withdraw from social life and your family as well

  8. Stage 8: Your behaviour changes which upsets your loved ones

  9. Stage 9: Depersonalization happens, you do not feel like yourself

  10. Stage 10: You feel empty and numb, substance abuse can occur

  11. Stage 11: You feel depressed, lost, and completely exhausted

  12. Stage 12: You mentally and physically collapse, full burnout
